East Robertson has been on the road for two straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Russellville Panthers at 5:30 p.m. East Robertson has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Saturday, everything went East Robertson's way against Cheatham County Central as East Robertson made off with a 67-47 win. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win East Robertson has managed all season.
Meanwhile, even though East Jessamine scored an imposing 67 points on Friday, Russellville still came out on top. Russellville came out on top in a nail-biter against East Jessamine and snuck past 69-67. That 69-67 margin sets a new team best for Russellville this season.
East Robertson's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Russellville, their victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-8.
East Robertson took their victory against Russellville when the teams last played back in December of 2019 by a conclusive 82-57. Does East Robertson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Russellville turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
