The Bucktail Bucks pushed their score all the way to 58 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 67-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Neumann Regional Academy. Bucktail lost against Neumann Regional Academy in their previous head to head back in February of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 96-54 score last time.
Neumann Regional Academy had a senior duo take command as Tyrick Moy scored 22 points and Messiah Baldwin scored 23 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Baldwin has scored at least 25% of Neumann Regional Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gino Birch, who scored 13 points.
Bucktail's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Neumann Regional Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bucktail will take on Montgomery at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Neumann Regional Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Williamsport at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. South Williamsport is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
