The Palmerton Blue Bombers will head out on the road to challenge the Palisades Pirates at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Saturday, Palmerton came up short against Saucon Valley and fell 54-45.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Palisades, who are still winless after their seventh match. They received a tough blow last Friday as they fell 59-44 to Catasauqua.
Palmerton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Palisades, they bumped their record down to 0-7 with that loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Palmerton against Palisades when the teams last played back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 58-23 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Palmerton since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
