Northwest lost to Broken Bow back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Northwest Vikings snuck past the Broken Bow Indians with a 44-39 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Northwest is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.4 points per game. As for Broken Bow, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwest won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Ogallala at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Ogallala's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests. As for Broken Bow, they will square off against McCook at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
