It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Notre Dame Prep had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Desert Vista Thunder 2-1. The victory was nothing new for the Saints as they're now sitting on three straight.

Skyler Ortega and Reese Marshall scored both of Notre Dame Prep's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Notre Dame Prep's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Desert Vista, their loss dropped their record down to 14-6.
