Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Valley Athletes for Christ). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Canyon State Academy Rams a 20-0 shutout on Thursday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Asher Kellso made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that he has brought in this season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cameron Marshall, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was David Glasscock, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI.
