Mike Mowell put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
