In what's become a running theme this season, the Lanett Panthers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 64-14 victory over Reeltown. The win was familiar territory for Lanett who now have four in a row.
Lanett got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Christiana Brock out in front who scored 11 points along with nine steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brock has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Nakeriona Heard, who scored eight points along with six assists and five steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Reeltown struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Lanett's victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-4. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29.13 points. As for Reeltown, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lanett will challenge Horseshoe Bend at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Horseshoe Bend will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Reeltown, they will head out on the road to take on LaFayette at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
