The Legacy School of Sport Sciences Titans entered their tilt with the BigTyme Prep Academy Bears with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Legacy School of Sport Sciences walked away with a 62-51 victory over BigTyme Prep Academy on Saturday.
When it comes to explaining why BigTyme Prep Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Noah Dowling. Despite the final result, he scored 19 points along with six rebounds and four steals. That's the first time this season that Dowling scored 15 or more points. Isaiah Stewart was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
The win got Legacy School of Sport Sciences back to even at 7-7. As for BigTyme Prep Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
Legacy School of Sport Sciences will head out on the road to face off against Sunrise Christian Academy on Monday. Sunrise Christian Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. BigTyme Prep Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on R.W. Goines Stem Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 16, 2024.
