The University Titans will challenge the East River Falcons at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Wednesday, University came out on top against Pine Ridge by a score of 4-3 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

University got a great performance from Brody Constantine as he pitched six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Constantine is becoming a predictor of the Titans' success: when he allows at most two earned runs the team is 4-1 (and 5-8-2 when he doesn't).
At the plate, University saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaiden Palmer, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East River). They never let Orangewood Christian get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won three in a row.
Elijah Sealey was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Sealey was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ty Kennedy, who scored a run while going 2-for-5. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in March. Dominic Diorio was another key player, scoring three runs while going 1-for-2.
East River always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .525. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Orangewood Christian only posted an OBP of .160.
The victory got University back to even at 9-9-2. As for East River, their win bumped their record up to 12-8.
University couldn't quite get it done against East River when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 6-2. Can the Titans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
