Keystone is 3-0 against East Forest since January of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Keystone Panthers will head out on the road to take on the East Forest Bears at 7:15 p.m. Keystone will be strutting in after a win while East Forest will be coming in after a defeat.
Keystone had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged Curwensville out 54-51.
Meanwhile, East Forest's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their sixth straight loss. They were dealt a 88-35 loss at the hands of Redbank Valley. While losing is never fun, East Forest can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 661st, while Redbank Valley is ranked 100th).
Keystone's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for East Forest, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6.
Everything came up roses for Keystone against East Forest in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 61-22 victory. With Keystone ahead 36-12 at the half, the match was all but over already.
