Benson won the last time they faced Santa Rita and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Bobcats were the clear victors by  a  21-1 margin over the Eagles. Considering the Bobcats have won six contests by more than ten  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Mandy Watson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. Those  seven  strikeouts gave  her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs. That  home run was  her first of the season.
 In other batting news,  Millie Kellogg was  incredible,  scoring four  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. Those  four  runs gave  her a new career-high.  Kaylei Taylor was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple.
 Benson  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. They are 2-1 when  they post two or more  home runs.
The  win  got Benson back to even at 9-9. As for Santa Rita, their defeat was  their third straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 1-6.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Benson is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Willcox  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive. Meanwhile, Santa Rita will  take on  rival Bisbee  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
