Berlin had won six straight home games dating back to last season and Cody Puzio did his part to make it seven on Friday. The Redcoats blew past the Wethersfield Eagles 28-7 with plenty of help from Puzio, who rushed for 187 yards and three scores while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 17 yards and one touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 53 yards.
Berlin's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Wethersfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
