The Burns Broncs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 51-34 victory over Pine Bluffs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Burns.
Leading Burns to victory were Brooklyn Kopetzky and Jordan Griess. Kopetzky scored ten points along with three steals, while Griess scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Griess has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Josie Barrett, who scored seven points.
Burns' win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8. As for Pine Bluffs, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
Burns will head out on the road to challenge Lingle-Fort Laramie at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pine Bluffs, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Guernsey-Sunrise at 3:00 p.m.
