After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Coronado, the Las Vegas Wildcats were happy to have found some success on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Western 81-48 on the road. That's another feather in the cap for Las Vegas, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Tayshaun Jackson was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Las Vegas' points. Another player making a difference was Bryce Davis, who scored 12 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals.
The victory got Las Vegas back to even at 2-2. As for Western, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Las Vegas will face off against Arbor View at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nevada (Arbor View is ranked 30th, while Las Vegas is ranked 34th). Western won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Somerset Academy Losee at 6:30 p.m. on December 5th.
