The Meadows School Mustangs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They blew past Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon 57-18 at home. The victory was just what The Meadows School needed coming off of a 50-14 loss in their prior game.
Tessa Lalanne was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Verdirame, who scored ten points along with two steals.
The Meadows School now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The Meadows School's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Palo Verde at 5:30 p.m. on January 24th. Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon will take on Sports Leadership & Management at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sports Leadership & Management is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
