It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama Wolfpack had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 31-7 margin over Randolph. The win was just business as usual for Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama, who after nine games remain undefeated this season.
Tate Catanese was on fire: he rushed for 72 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 226 yards and a touchdown while completing 76.5% of his passes. Carter Brink also helped out with an impressive 81 receiving yards.
Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0. As for Randolph, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama will take on Wilson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wilson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 140th, while Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama is ranked 48th). Randolph does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
