Football Recap: Fort Lee Piles Up the Points Against Kearny

Fort Lee won against Bergen Tech last Friday with 42 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Bridgemen blew past the Kearny Kardinals 42-12. The Bridgemen haven't had any issues with the Kardinals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

It was another big night for Luke Senatore, who rushed for 103 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 150 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 76.9% of his passes. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Fort Lee's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Kearny, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Lee will take on Tenafly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kearny, they will challenge Cliffside Park at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Kardinals will be up against the Raiders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
