Tyresse Barnes Turns in Season-Best Performance
Tyresse Barnes produced his most outstanding game to date while leading La Porte to the win on Friday. Barnes rushed for 255 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 41 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The victory was the eighth in a row for La Porte, bringing their record for this year to 8-3. Barnes and La Porte will take on Barbers Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Big Game from Duron As Angleton Won 35-28
Bryce Duron put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September on Friday. He rushed for 33 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 123 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 passes.
The win made it two in a row for Angleton and bumps their season record up to 10-1. Duron and Angleton will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Port Arthur Memorial at 7:00 p.m.
