The Carvers Bay Bears waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They secured a 57-52 W over Scott's Branch. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Carvers Bay also won the last time the pair played last Tuesday.
Carvers Bay's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaden Bell, who scored 14 points along with two blocks. That's the first time this season that Bell posted two or more blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenard Heyward, who scored 14 points along with four steals.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jordan Kind, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Nigel Lawson, who scored 12 points.
Carvers Bay's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Scott's Branch, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
