They took their matchup at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 60-29 win over South Haven. That looming 60-29 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for West Elk yet this season.
Leading West Elk to victory were Maddex Moreno and Uriah Tillapaugh. Moreno scored 17 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds, while Tillapaugh almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Tillapaugh has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Garett Usry, who scored seven points.
West Elk has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for South Haven, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
