On Saturday, Williston-Elko strolled past Barnwell with points to spare, taking the game 63-49. The victory was just what Williston-Elko needed coming off of a 58-31 defeat in their prior contest.
In what's become a running theme this season, North gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They breezed by Calhoun County at home to the tune of 85-50. The victory was familiar territory for North who now have five in a row.
North relied on the efforts of Kashannon Strobert, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds, and Stetson Stacks, who scored 20 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Stacks hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Ashton Jamison, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Williston-Elko's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for North, their win bumped their record up to 15-3.
