They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Ibrahim Ahmed and
Jose Gomez, who scored all three of Newark Memorial's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 18 so far this season.
Newark Memorial's win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-0-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 43 goals over those nine matches. As for James Logan, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-7-3.
