Keenan is 10-0 against the Griffins since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the pair will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 6:30 p.m. on February 6th. Fairfield Central took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Keenan, who comes in off a win.
Keenan waltzed into their match last Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They claimed a resounding 76-20 victory over Columbia at home. That looming 76-20 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Keenan yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Keenan to victory, but perhaps none more so than Taelor Lee-sutton, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. Lee-sutton hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Aareonna Cuaghman, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 17 rebounds.
Fairfield Central played against the Red Foxes and lost via forfeit.
Keenan has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Fairfield Central, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
Everything came up roses for Keenan against the Griffins when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 85-33 win. Does Keenan have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Griffins turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
