Creighton Prep has been on the road for three straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Gretna East Griffins at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Saturday, Creighton Prep strolled past Lincoln Southeast with points to spare, taking the game 65-50.
Creighton Prep got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Dillon Claussen out in front who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. The match was Claussen's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Torran Carter-brown, who scored 12 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Gretna East was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 62-56 to Fremont.
Creighton Prep's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Gretna East, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
