Carver Collegiate Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Roderielle Franklin, who scored 13 points along with four blocks. That's the first time this season that Franklin posted two or more blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Akeelah Bovie, who scored ten points.
Carver Collegiate Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Warren Easton, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carver Collegiate Academy will face off against McDonogh 35 at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Warren Easton, they will head out on the road to face off against Booker T. Washington at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Booker T. Washington is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last 13 games.
