Stoever Came Up Big in Wimberley's 59-28 Win
Starting off the list is Wimberley's Cody Stoever, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Stoever rushed for 81 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 247 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 passes.
If history really does repeat itself, Stoever might just drop another big game when he faces off against Jarrell on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Stoever saw the Cougars), he threw for 180 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushed for 59 yards.
