The Countryside Christian Minutemen will head out to take on the Harvest Community Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Thursday, Countryside Christian got the win against Eastside by a conclusive 18-3.

Laila Carter made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (three).
In other batting news, Riley Keith was a standout: she scored three runs and stole three bases while going 4-for-5. Kayley Mcleod was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
Countryside Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Harvest Community got themselves on the board against Parker on Tuesday, but Parker never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Braves with a sharp 16-0 victory. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Harvest Community got a massive performance out of Marley Elliott, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Elise Harmer, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Countryside Christian now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Harvest Community, their record now sits at 18-4.
Thursday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Countryside Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .389. However, it's not like Harvest Community struggles in that department as they've averaged .409. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
