In what's become a running theme this season, the Peetz Bulldogs gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They blew past Potter-Dix 85-38 at home. Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to rack up 20 more assists than your opponent, as Peetz did.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Peetz to victory, but perhaps none more so than Noah Naegele, who scored 24 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Naegele has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Rhyder Bayne, who went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 20 points and 3 assists.
Potter-Dix's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caden Mcconnell, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trenton Hickman, who scored eight points.
Potter-Dix struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Peetz pushed their record up to 13-3 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.6 points per game. As for Potter-Dix, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.
Peetz will be playing at home against Otis at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Otis has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 556 points over their last eight matchups. As for Potter-Dix, they will head out on the road to face off against Arthur County on Friday. Hopefully Potter-Dix focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Tuesday.
