After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lebanon, the Carl Junction Bulldogs were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They strolled past Aurora with points to spare, taking the game 84-69. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Carl Junction's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brody Pant, who scored 23 points along with 4 steals. Cooper Vediz was another key contributor, scoring 23 points along with 6 rebounds.
The win got Carl Junction back to even at 2-2. As for Aurora, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carl Junction will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Pittsburg at 7:30 p.m. on December 8th. As for Aurora, they will challenge Hollister at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
