A Season-Best Effort from Chris Stewart Leads Shadow Creek over Pearland
Shadow Creek was led to victory by Chris Stewart, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Stewart wasn't messing around, picking up 71 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 54 yards and a touchdown. The match was his third straight with two or more receiving touchdowns.
The win (which was Shadow Creek's seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Stewart and Shadow Creek will head out on the road to challenge South Houston at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Pearland was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Tate Chisolm did his best to prevent it. Nobody could stop Chisolm as he rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns, and also caught a touchdown.
Pearland's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-2. Chisolm and Pearland will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on South Houston at 6:30 p.m. on November 7th.

Triston Willis and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Shadow Creek picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Triston Willis. Willis turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 113 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. Those 113 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
This season, Willis has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 65.5 rushing yards per game.

Big Game from Zavala As Dawson Won 58-35
The second Dawson player making an appearance here is Max Zavala, and for good reason. He threw for 179 yards and two touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes.
Zavala and Dawson will take on Manvel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will pit Zavala up against the Mavericks' star quarterback Cam Renfro. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
