The Leadership Academy Falcons lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on on Tuesday was a bit more commanding. They took a serious blow against Bishop McGuinness, falling 83-48. Leadership Academy has not had much luck with the Villains recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Despite the loss, Leadership Academy still got an impressive performance from Will Martin, who scored 22 points along with two steals. Martin has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last three times he's played. Ryas Ferguson was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Leadership Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Bishop McGuinness, they pushed their record up to 17-3 with that win, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Leadership Academy will take on the Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bethany has now lost 18 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 29. As for Bishop McGuinness, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Royals at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
