Whitehall came out on top against Emmaus on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run seventh inning. The Zephyrs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 victory over the Hornets. For the Zephyrs, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Hornets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.
Whitehall let Aryanna Donlon and Paige Tacker run wild. Donlon went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI, while Tacker got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple was Tacker's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Amya Espinal, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.
The victory made it two in a row for Whitehall and bumps their season record up to 8-3.
