 In other batting news,  Ali Palsa was  incredible,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with three  runs and one  RBI.  Izzy Shima also deserves some recognition as  she  hit her first  triple of the season.
 Solon  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Streetsboro struck out nine times.
Solon has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-14 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Streetsboro, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 17-8.
 Coming up, Solon will square off against Twinsburg at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Streetsboro, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  7-6  defeat against Edgewood on the 19th.
