There's no place like home for the J.L. Mann Patriots, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 80-76 win over Hillcrest on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Dontez Walker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 15 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremy Cook, who scored 17 points along with six assists.
J.L. Mann is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-15 record this season. As for Hillcrest, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-19 record this season.
J.L. Mann does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hillcrest also has no future games currently scheduled.
