Basketball Recap: Plumas Charter Skates Past Butte Valley with Ease

Plumas Charter entered their tilt with Butte Valley on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Butte Valley Bulldogs 66-25. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Plumas Charter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dalton Bentz, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. Bentz is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Owen Joseph was another key player, putting up 21 points and four steals.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Layton Rasdal, who posted six points. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Lane, who had six points.

Plumas Charter's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2. As for Butte Valley, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Plumas Charter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 50-47 defeat against Etna on the 3rd. As for Butte Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 100-22 loss against Hoopa Valley on the 3rd.
