First Academy led Sunshine State - North in scoring this week after putting up 55 points on Seven Rivers Christian. David Elliott threw for 86 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 39 yards in the win.
The Eagles' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Dalton Thomas chipped in 133 yards. Thomas helped First Academy's passing attack out by catching one ball for 23 yards.
Byron Masoline was the best wideout in the league this week as First Academy topped the Warriors. Masoline tallied three receptions for 43 yards.
Central Florida Christian Academy's Ben Moore and Elisha Jordan have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Moore has thrown for 500 yards this season, while Jordan, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 15 catches for 297 yards. John Iwaniec from Seven Rivers Christian leads the league in rushing with 743 yards.
A big matchup in Sunshine State - North this week will be when the Eagles take on Sheldon Walker's team. Central Florida Christian Academy is currently in first, while the Eagles are in third.
There should be lots of points scored when Monty Vann's team and First Academy face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Eagles comes in having scored 126 this season, while the Eagles have scored 107.
Master's Academy made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 13,720 from 14,274. The advance stemmed from a 35-7 victory over Ocala Christian last week.
