The Plainview Pirates will be playing at home against the Wynot Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Plainview was able to grind out a solid win over West Holt, taking the game 47-39. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Plainview.
Abbie Kromarek continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Plainview's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Teya Boyer, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Wynot beat St. Francis 45-32 back in December of 2023.
Plainview is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Wynot, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1.
