Holmes County Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Coahoma County, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holmes County Central will take on Forest Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Coahoma County, they will head out on the road to face off against North Side at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. North Side will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Mississippi Rankings (they are ranked 138th, while Coahoma County is ranked 48th).
