The Patterson Lumberjacks will be home for the holidays to greet the Westgate Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Thursday, Patterson was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 35-34 to New Iberia. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Patterson has scored all season.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Westgate, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 54-40 loss to Lake Charles College Prep on Thursday. Westgate has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Patterson now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Westgate, their defeat was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-2.
Patterson beat Westgate 54-47 in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Will Patterson repeat their success, or does Westgate have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
