WACO will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against English Valleys at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
WACO came within a touchdown against Iowa Valley last Friday, but wound up with a 32-46 loss.
Meanwhile, English Valleys were fully in charge last week, breezing past Winfield-Mt. Union 74-18.
English Valleys's win lifted them to 2-0 while WACO's loss dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if English Valleys can add another positive mark to their record or if WACO can shake off the loss and take the spring out of English Valleys's step.
