Wharton waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Freedom Patriots 13-5. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

James Spencer looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

Wharton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive games.

Wharton's record now sits at 13-4-1. As for Freedom, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-7 record this season.

Wharton will head out to face off against Durant at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 3.3, the Cougars 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Freedom, they will be playing at home against King at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
