Mason McCall posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

McCall's strong effort led Sutter over Casa Roble and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
