Basketball Game Preview: Southern Fulton Indians vs. Windber Ramblers

Having just played yesterday, the Southern Fulton Indians will get right back to it and host the Windber Ramblers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Southern Fulton is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Portage on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Southern Fulton might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Portage an easy 59-36 victory.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Gaven Mellott, who posted 11 points and six rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Trentin Cain, who went 5 of 7 en route to 10 points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Windber entered their tilt with Rockwood on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Everything went their way against the Rockets as they made off with a 78-52 win. The Ramblers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 24 points or more this season.

Southern Fulton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Windber, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
