They were outmatched by Military Magnet Academy at home and fell 107-20. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points St. John's has scored all season.
Military Magnet Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was DaNariyah Williams, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. Sabri Mitchell was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 15 rebounds.
St. John's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Military Magnet Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
St. John's will head out on the road to square off against Cross at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Cross will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. Military Magnet Academy will take on Baptist Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Baptist Hill will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 240th, while Military Magnet Academy is ranked 28th).
