The North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They strolled past Park Tudor with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 44-26. The win was nothing new for North Judson-San Pierre as they're now sitting on five straight.
Leading North Judson-San Pierre to victory were Jesiah McDaniel and Kole Wilcox. McDaniel rushed for 115 yards and four touchdowns, while Wilcox rushed for 152 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. Wilcox was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 67 yards. Brock Benson and his 84 yards on the ground were also a key factor in North Judson-San Pierre's win.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to North Judson-San Pierre's defense and their four sacks. Park Tudor's QB won't forget CJ Sanchez anytime soon given Sanchez sacked him three times.
Loss or not, Park Tudor got some senior leadership from Dj (darrell) gordon who threw for 237 yards and three touchdowns and Cason Ritz who picked up 130 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
North Judson-San Pierre has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Park Tudor, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 12-1.
North Judson-San Pierre will head out on the road to face off against Adams Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Adams Central will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line. Park Tudor does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
