It was a good run, but Fisher Catholic unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 50-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crooksville Ceramics. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Irish came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 269th, while the Ceramics are ranked 609th).

Fisher Catholic lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Sydney Snoke, who posted 11 points and eight rebounds. Snoke has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Hadli Gillum, who earned 12 points.

Fisher Catholic's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-2. As for Crooksville, they moved to 4-9 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Fisher Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 53-10 win against Berne Union on the 15th. Crooksville has also already played their next game (against Philo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
