The Lincoln Northwest Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Saturday after their 14th straight  defeat. They took a serious blow against Bennington, falling  83-55. Lincoln Northwest was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  44-18.
 It was another big night for  Gavin Olson, who  scored 18 points along with two  steals for Bennington. Another player making a difference was  Easton Lapel, who  scored eight points along with six  assists and five  rebounds.
 Lincoln Northwest's defeat was  their sixth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Bennington, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record  this season.
 Lincoln Northwest will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against Waverly. Waverlypresents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lincoln Northwest in Nebraska (Waverly is ranked 73rd, while Lincoln Northwest is ranked 213th). As for Bennington, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Mount Michael Benedictine on Thursday.
