The Parkers Chapel Trojans suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Junction City at home and fell 76-47. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Parkers Chapel in their matchups with Junction City: they've now lost three in a row.
It was another big night for Montra Hankton, who went 6 for 7 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and 2 assists for Junction City. Hankton hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Dovonte ?Woody? Grimes, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Parkers Chapel's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-10. As for Junction City, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Fordyce the next time they take the court. Junction City will host Fordyce at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Parkers Chapel will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
