Nolensville is a perfect 6-0 against Ravenwood since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Nolensville Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Ravenwood Raptors at 6:30 p.m. Nolensville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.3 runs per game this season.
Nolensville took a loss when they played away from home last Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Centennial a 15-0 shutout. The Knights have beaten the Cougars the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Cougars has come to flipping the script.

Addi Leichty was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. That stolen base marked the first that she snagged this season.
In other batting news, Jaycee Bilbrey was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Ella Noe, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs.
Meanwhile, Ravenwood fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Summit on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 3-2. The Raptors just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.
Campbell Raphael spent all 7.1 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits.
On the hitting side, Ravenwood saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addisonl Maxwell, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and one RBI.
Nolensville's victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Ravenwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Ravenwood's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Nolensville hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .467. It's a different story for Ravenwood, though, as they've only averaged .202. Will they be able to contain Nolensville's hitters?
Nolensville came out on top in a nail-biter against Ravenwood in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 2-0. Will Nolensville repeat their success, or does Ravenwood have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
